Every IPTV subscription has an end date. When it passes, the server stops accepting your login and your channels, films, series, and TV guide stop loading, usually all at once. Renewal messages are some of the most common we handle, and the customers who have the smoothest experience all do the same thing: they renew a few days early. Here is everything you need to do the same.

Find Your Expiry Date

Knowing the exact date is the first step to avoiding a gap. There are three easy ways to find it:

  1. In your app. Many IPTV players show account information, including the expiry date, in an account, user info, or playlist info screen. In IPTV Smarters Pro, look for the account or user info option on the main screen or in settings. In TiviMate, look in the playlist settings. Menu names vary between app versions.
  2. In your order messages. Your welcome message tells you the plan you bought and when it started. Add three or twelve months, depending on the plan.
  3. Ask us. Send your username on WhatsApp and we will confirm your expiry date.

Once you know it, put a reminder in your phone's calendar for five days before. It takes ten seconds and saves the "everything stopped on Friday night" message.

Signs Your Subscription Has Expired

An expired account often looks like a technical fault, so it is worth recognizing the signs before you start restarting routers:

  • Every channel, film, and series stops at the same time, on every device.
  • The app shows a message such as "account expired", "authorization failed", or "invalid login" with details that worked yesterday.
  • The TV guide goes blank along with the channels.
  • An M3U link that used to work now returns an error or an empty list.

If only some channels fail, or only one device has problems, the account is probably still active. In that case look at our guides to Xtream Codes and M3U errors, buffering, or IPTV not working on Firestick.

How to Renew, Step by Step

Renewal with us is handled directly by our team on WhatsApp:

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Use the button at the bottom of this page, or the one on our contact page.
  2. Send your current account details. Your username, or the email or phone number used for your order, so we can find the right account. Never send your password in a public place; we only need enough to identify the account.
  3. Choose your plan. Essential ($29, 3 months, 1 screen), Premium ($49, 12 months, 1 screen), or Supreme ($79, 12 months, 2 screens). See the pricing section for the full comparison.
  4. Confirm the payment step. We send you the payment details and confirm the order.
  5. Get your confirmation. We apply the renewal and confirm your new expiry date. If anything about your login changes, we say so clearly and send the new details.

Only renew through our official WhatsApp number or contact page. If someone contacts you first offering a "renewal" at a different price or through a different channel, do not pay; message us to check.

Avoiding Downtime

Downtime happens when a renewal is made after the expiry date, or when new details are issued and not updated in every app. A few habits remove both risks:

  • Renew three to five days early. That leaves time to answer any question without your service stopping. Ask us to confirm how the new period is applied to your account before you pay.
  • Avoid the last evening. Messages sent right before a big live event are the ones that leave the least time if something needs checking.
  • Keep your login somewhere safe. Save your server URL, username, password, and M3U link in a secure note. If an app ever needs the details again, you will not have to search old messages.
  • List your devices. If your details change, you need to update every device where the app is installed: TV, stick, phone, tablet. A short list makes that quick.

If your subscription has already expired

Do not worry: an expired account is the easiest problem we deal with. Message us the same way, with your username or order email, and tell us the plan you want. Leave your apps installed and do not delete the saved login; once the renewal is applied, a full restart of the app is usually all it takes for channels to come back. Avoid clearing the app's data or reinstalling while you wait, because that removes your saved login and favorites and adds setup work that is not needed. If you see a different error after renewing, the troubleshooting table below covers the common ones.

Should You Switch Plans When You Renew?

Renewal is the natural time to check that your plan still fits how you watch:

  • On Essential and happy with the service? Moving to a 12-month plan lowers your cost per month from about $9.67 to about $4.08. Our 3-month vs 12-month comparison shows the full math.
  • Seeing "max connections" messages? Two people in your home are probably watching at the same time on a one-screen plan. Supreme gives you two screens. Our guide to using IPTV on multiple devices explains how screens work.
  • Watching less than before? A shorter plan may suit you better. We are happy to tell you when the cheaper plan is enough.

After Renewing: Quick Checks

  1. Close and reopen the app. Some apps keep the "expired" status cached until they restart.
  2. Refresh the playlist. Use the app's reload or update option so it fetches the current channel list.
  3. Refresh the TV guide. If the guide stays blank, see our EPG troubleshooting guide.
  4. Update the login if you received new details. In Smart IPTV, that means uploading the new M3U link again; see our Smart IPTV setup guide. In apps with a login screen, edit the saved playlist or user.
  5. Play one live channel and one film. If both work, you are done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I renew my IPTV subscription with BuyCheapIPTV?

Message us on WhatsApp with the username or email from your current order and the plan you want. We confirm the details and the payment step, then apply the renewal and confirm your new expiry date.

Will I need to set up my apps again after renewing?

When an existing account is extended, your login stays the same, so your apps keep working without any changes. If your renewal ever needs new login details, we tell you clearly and send them, and you update the login in your app.

Can I renew before my subscription expires?

Yes, and it is the easiest way to avoid a gap. We suggest renewing a few days before the expiry date. Ask us to confirm how the new period is applied to your account and what your new expiry date will be before you pay.

Can I change plans when I renew?

Yes. Renewal is a good moment to switch, for example from the 3-month Essential plan to a 12-month plan, or from one screen to two with Supreme. Tell us which plan you want when you message us.

My subscription expired. Have I lost my favorites and settings?

Favorites, hidden groups, and app settings are stored in the app on your device, not in your subscription, so they are usually still there. If you keep the same login after renewing, they normally work as before. If your login changes, some apps may need favorites set again.

How do I find my expiry date?

Many IPTV apps show it in an account, user info, or playlist info screen. IPTV Smarters Pro, for example, shows account details including the expiry date. If you cannot find it, message us your username and we will tell you.
